Nursing Care Services

 From my 1st visit to Ridgeway, when trying to source a nursing home for my mam, I felt welcome and supported. They were kind and patient re all my fears and insecurities around mam's deteriorated health and end of life prognosis. 8 months later and mam is actually doing really well. She is happy in her new home. She has confidence in her care and their patience and kindness. This has massively improved mam's mental health which has supported her physical health. Funding involved several processes and Ridgeway were even supportive through that. Mam is a fussy eater but likes the food. All the staff, not just the nurses, are amazing. I love how dignity is important to Ridgeway too. Privacy during toiletry is paramount. Their buzzer response times are good. If someone can't help, they will go find someone who can. Their recent fair was a joy: great music, dancing, raffle, fantastic food spread, all smiles. Like the rest of Ridgeway: a joy. 

 I can't recommend Ridgeway highly enough. My mum has the best care from all the members of staff. The meals are wonderful. Hospitality to visitors is friendly and accommodating. There is always a chair, a cup of coffee, and great banter. Management is approachable and professional. Nursing staff, the same. I write this review honestly, having experienced 'mum's care' in two other homes. So happy that we found Ridgeway almost a year ago now. I no longer have feelings of despair when I leave her. 

 My brother was a recent resident at this home and we cannot praise the staff high enough their attention to the care and wellbeing for all the residents is on another level, nothing is too much trouble whatever the residents ask for they will pull out all the stops to sort it out, when I said all the staff everyone from the cleaners ,the kitchen staff , the laundry staff and not to forget the fantastic nurses who face every aspect of emotions every day but greet everyone with the most beautiful caring smiles and you know your lived ones are in good hands and that is a great comfort for all the relatives at the most worrying times.
